fib symposium in Tel Aviv
The next fib symposium, taking place in April 2013 in Tel Aviv, Israel, will be a great opportunity to gain state-of-the-art knowledge on recent developments, technologies and interesting current projects, share and discuss information and ideas with experts, form international networks, as well as renew old acquaintances. The 2013 symposium themes, which cover developments in materials, design and construction of concrete structures, will have interest for almost everyone to be informed of the latest innovations, techniques and ideas, and to have opportunity to discuss and debate.
For more information, see http://www.fib2013tel-aviv.co.il.
Short courses
fib short courses and workshops are held around the world several times per year, bringing together international and local experts to present advanced knowledge on specialized topics. Recent courses have been held in Greece (“Earthquake resistance of precast concrete structures”), South Africa (“Concrete structures in fire”) and Italy (“Recent advances in codes and design guidelines towards a sustainable development” and “The new Model Code for Concrete Structures”). The next course will be a concrete bridge workshop held on 15-16 October 2012 in Ankara, Turkey, in conjunction with ACE2012. For more information, see http://www.fib-international.org/courses and the events calendar.
